The sweater is sort of thin but not too thin. I really love it and it's very long! I'm 5'3", and it comes roughly to my mid thighs. It's just the smell. When I got it, it smelled sort of weird. You can obviously wash it though! :) The material is definitely not suitable for a cold winter, but you can always put a jacket over it!
